Tessera Studios, an independent studio with more than nine years of experience and the team behind Intruders: Hide and Seek, published by Daedalic for PC and consoles, as well as projects based on the Transformers and Star Trek franchises, is presenting the latest version of The Zibbo Show at gamescom 2026. The roguelike deckbuilder combines betting, dice, and strategic decisions in matches defined by risk.

Each match puts two contestants on 3x3 boards with nine dice each, which are placed alternately to create combinations and increase their scores. Matching values in a column multiply the results, while certain moves allow players to destroy their opponent's dice, creating encounters where luck and planning must work together. The campaign is divided into 12 rounds, with increasingly dangerous opponents leading to the final confrontation against Zibbo.

The betting system increases the tension before each match, allowing players to double their wager after a victory, while a loss causes the entire amount to disappear. Between matches, the shop offers cards, dice upgrades, and chips, with cards activating automatically and creating combinations that can significantly affect performance during battles.

Each run also expands the available strategic possibilities, as new cards are unlocked throughout the game. With 48 cards to collect, players can experiment with different combinations during each attempt, encouraging them to adapt their strategies according to the resources they acquire.

The Spin of Luck provides a second chance after losing a confrontation, allowing players to spend a ticket to face the same opponent again and revisit the shop before the rematch. The mechanic adds a recovery layer to the roguelike system, keeping open the possibility of turning around an unfavorable run and advancing toward the final battle.
