Indie co-developers Glowfish Interactive and Rangatang have officially released the debut demo for Nubs!, an arena brawler currently in development at the Belgian and Dutch studios. Led by some of the creative minds behind the 2012 indie cult hit Awesomenauts, the game aims to bring the same "fun-first" design philosophy into a chaotic, multiplayer brawling experience with a roguelite twist. The demo is now available on Steam, allowing players to get a first taste of the action.

The game offers both local and online multiplayer, supporting four or more players in fast-paced battles. Whether facing off against friends in the same living room or challenging opponents from around the world, every match delivers intense and unpredictable combat. The goal is simple: be the last Nub standing amidst the mayhem.

Each match takes place in vibrant, multi-layered arenas packed with environmental hazards and traps that can turn the tide of battle in an instant. Players must stay alert and adapt to the ever-changing dynamics of the battlefield, using quick reflexes and strategic thinking to outmaneuver their rivals.

Adding to the charm, the characters are as quirky as they are competitive. These tiny, mischievous combatants come with their own distinct personalities and a variety of absurd weapons and power-ups. Their cartoonish yet expressive designs contribute to the game's lighthearted but intense nature, ensuring every fight is as entertaining as it is action-packed.

The experience is further enriched by multiple game modes that keep the competition fresh and engaging. With roguelite progression woven into the core gameplay, no two playthroughs are ever the same. Players must adapt to new challenges, discover unexpected twists, and refine their tactics as they strive for victory.

By blending accessible yet deep gameplay with a strong multiplayer focus, the upcoming title builds upon the legacy of Awesomenauts while offering a unique twist on the genre. With its demo now live on Steam, players can dive in and get a firsthand look at the action-packed, endlessly replayable battles that define this indie brawler.
