3R Games, an experienced team known for virtual reality hits such as Cave Crave, has released the demo of its new project, Punch Lunch: Foodtruck Fighter, now available for free on Steam. The concept invites players to respond to urban chaos in the only way that makes sense, using fists and food as the core tools of the experience.

The dish contains no allergens, but may include Streets Of Rage inspired action, set in a classic GTA style city, combined with cooking and time management minigames reminiscent of Overcooked and Dave The Diver. It is a casual single player adventure that blends straightforward street combat with a quirky food simulation full of personality.

Featuring an energetic soundtrack with the participation of bass star Davie504, the first demo showcases the main gameplay loop. Players punch their way through so called "hangry" baddies, shop at the food market, and serve juicy burgers to pacify troublemakers, reinforcing the humorous and dynamic tone of the experience offered by Punch Lunch: Foodtruck Fighter.
