Dust Games has announced that Roombattle will launch worldwide on Steam on March 25, 2026, arriving on PC and Linux with a chaotic and party driven experience for up to six players. The developer also confirmed that a free demo is currently available, offering a packed slice of the full experience.
In the demo version, players can compete online or locally across two themed arenas, the Living Room and the Museum, both filled with interactive obstacles that transform every match into something unpredictable. Four minigames are available, Balloon Rain, Roomball, Clean Prix, and Roombout, structured across five round matches with up to two minigames per game.
With six chaotic power ups and two Mystery Skills, each battle introduces new strategic possibilities and unexpected twists. The concept places vacuum cleaners that abandon their cleaning duties to face intense showdowns in arenas packed with outrageous weapons, balloon popping chaos, and nonstop action. "The premise is simple: be the last vacuum cleaner standing."
Designed for up to six participants, the title delivers relentless and unpredictable moments across chaotic rooms filled with exaggerated physics and hilarious challenges. Whether players want to settle scores with friends or simply cause as much destruction as possible, Roombattle promises to be the most fun way to ruin a friendship.
Every match also feeds into a full progression system, rewarding players with unlockables that include new gameplay features and cosmetic items. In total, there are more than 50 unlockables and nearly 200 thousand possible combinations of hats, eyes, colors, and accessories, ensuring that each vacuum cleaner reflects its owner’s personality.
Accessibility stands at the heart of the experience. With a control scheme built around just two buttons and a stick, anyone can jump in immediately with no prior experience required. Those without a controller can use a keyboard or even turn their mobile phone into a gamepad.
Game sessions are fully customizable, allowing players to activate Glitch mode, adjust match length, add bots to fill the arena, and choose from multiple game modes. This flexibility supports everything from quick party rounds to extended sessions of vacuum fueled destruction.
At launch, the game will be available on PC and Linux, featuring online and local multiplayer for up to six players, more than 12 minigames, more than 12 battle maps, over 15 power ups and Mystery Skills, and customizable modes that further expand the variety of experiences.
