After four years of development, Pixel Maniacs officially launched ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard on Steam, while also making it available on Epic Games, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation® 5. The studio celebrates bringing the project to the public after a long period dedicated to refining its ideas and mechanics.

In ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard, players use the weapon that gives the game its name to paint droids, which are magnetically attracted to walls of the same color. The concept blends logical thinking with first person action, turning colors into strategic tools to progress through increasingly challenging environments.

Between deadly floor tiles, angry droids, color changers, paint removers, and catapult pads, players must solve complex logic puzzles while following a comedic story about friendship, redemption, and the multiverse. This combination creates unpredictable situations that demand planning and creativity.

Described as a first person puzzle shooter centered around colors, the title also features subtractive color mixing as a core mechanic. By strategically painting walls and droids, players manipulate robotic enemies to clear paths and overcome each logical challenge presented.
