Two Trick Pony launched a demo for Bag of Dreams on Steam, a cozy deckbuilder described by the studio as a Dreambuilder. The title builds on traditional foundations of the genre, but leans into dreamlike systems in which players place dream fragments night after night, shaping each run in flexible and experimental ways. The goal is to deliver strong replayability and mechanics that feel distinct from conventional deckbuilding card games.

Building on familiar deckbuilding foundations, the game introduces a creative twist: instead of drawing from a traditional deck, players pull dream fragments from a bag and carefully slot them into their evolving Dream Space. Each choice directly influences the development of the run, opening room for unexpected combinations and personalized strategies.

With each new night, the experience transforms organically, encouraging creative builds and deeply satisfying synergies. On the surface, it features cute, hand drawn visuals with a gently surreal tone. Beneath that cozy aesthetic, however, lies meaningful tactical depth, as nightmares gradually creep in, demanding tough decisions and careful optimization.

The design aims to capture the feeling of “just one more run,” maintaining an engaging rhythm without relying on excessive stress. This balance between a relaxing atmosphere and meaningful strategic tension sustains player interest across extended play sessions.

As part of Steam Next Fest, the studio has made a public demo available on Steam, allowing players to experience the concept ahead of the full launch planned for mid March. During the event, the title can be found in categories such as Casual and Strategy, as well as Card Game, Roguelike, and Deckbuilding.

According to the team, "The response so far has been incredibly encouraging, with creators sharing first impressions and gameplay videos across YouTube and other platforms. Community feedback continues to play an important role in shaping the experience." Positive feedback from the community and content creators has played a direct role in refining the overall experience.

Among its key differentiators are the bag building approach instead of a traditional deck system, flexible dream placement that rewards experimentation, cozy visuals paired with surprisingly deep optimization, and strong replayability driven by emergent synergies.
