Sagestone Games has released the largest update to the demo of its open world survival and building game Delverium, which is now available for download on Steam. The project reinforces the studio’s commitment to expanding and refining the previously presented experience, offering players an even more robust preview of what is yet to come.

Delverium is an open world survival sandbox farming game in which 1 to 8 players explore a vast procedurally generated world. Throughout the journey, players can gather resources, build shelters, tend crops, recruit NPCs, craft items, and take on high risk dungeon crawling as they venture into the unknown. Only the most courageous heroes will be able to uncover the secrets that await in this universe.

The major demo update introduces online co op for up to eight players, along with simultaneous split screen and online multiplayer featuring drop in and drop out support. The package also delivers a significant graphical overhaul with improved sprites, as well as a complete ambient audio revamp designed to enhance immersion.

Additional features include full control rebinding and fast travel through hidden Journey Shrines. The content has been expanded with new lore and quest systems, a brand new boss encounter, and more extensive customization options for the world, characters, and difficulty settings.

Sagestone Games is primarily led by indie developer Scott Lowther, who is creating the project with the support of BAFTA Award winning composer and audio director Jeff van Dyck, known for his work on Unpacking, Forts, and Paint the Town Red, alongside a few close friends.

The game is scheduled to launch on PC via Steam in 2026 and has been confirmed to feature Steam Deck support. Development is also supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Games Grants program, strengthening independent production and encouraging the local games industry.
