StudioBando announced that Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato will be released on October 7 on Steam, Xbox, and Game Pass. The game presents a magical journey filled with emotion and fantasy, set in the lush landscapes of South America, in a special quest for the ingredients of a grandmother’s soup.

The story follows Miho, who, upon entering the pantry to grab a potato, is suddenly transported to a fantastic land. With each ingredient he retrieves, he returns to the kitchen only to discover that the world around him has changed in unexpected ways. This cycle transforms a simple cooking task into a journey of self-discovery and connection with an ancestral family explorer.

Inspired by works such as Coco, the films of Hayao Miyazaki, and the classic The Little Prince, the game is built as a celebration of family, adventure, and the value of memories passed down through generations. It offers an experience that blends warmth and fantasy, as comforting as the first sip of hot soup on a cold day.

Players will be able to explore 3D environments rich in magical realism, navigate rivers by canoe, solve puzzles, and collect mysterious items. In addition, the title features a remarkable soundtrack, unlocked throughout the journey, that enhances its enchanting atmosphere.
