Iratus: Lord of the Dead is a tactical roguelike RPG developed by Unfrozen and published by Daedalic Entertainment, set in a dark fantasy universe. Players take on the role of Iratus, a necromancer newly freed after a millennium of imprisonment, leading an army of the undead to bring destruction to the realms of the living. The mission is clear: guide Iratus to the surface, using his dark powers and legions of resurrected creatures to crush his foes.

In the game, Iratus commands an army of various undead beings, including skeletons, zombies, and banshees, all crafted from the remains of defeated enemies. Each servant possesses unique abilities, providing rich strategic depth. Players can also expand and upgrade Iratus’s underground lair, empowering their forces through dark rituals and carefully planned strategies.

Iratus: Lord of the Dead features a complex combat system, where victory depends on understanding the strengths and weaknesses of both your undead troops and the enemies. Iratus himself has access to four distinct skill trees: Alchemy, Magic, Wrath, and Destruction, each offering abilities that can drastically change the course of battle.

The game incorporates roguelike elements, where decisions are permanent and servants lost in battle cannot be revived. This adds a layer of strategy as every action must be calculated carefully. Iratus: Lord of the Dead also boasts a dark, immersive atmosphere with detailed 2D graphics that emphasize its grim fantasy setting.

With various difficulty levels and high-quality voice acting by Stefan Weyte, the game offers a challenging and engaging experience for fans of tactical RPGs.
