Meridiem is excited to announce the release of a physical edition for AWAKEN - Astral Blade, an action role-playing game set in a fantasy world. Developed by Dark Pigeon Games and digitally published by ESDigital Games, this physical edition will be available in autumn 2024 through specialist stores across Europe for PlayStation 5. Meridiem will be responsible for the design and manufacturing of the Tania’s Edition, which will include a specially designed slipcase, a printed Lore Book revealing more about Tania’s history and the mysterious Eternity civilization, the digital soundtrack, and a sticker featuring the Fatal Boss. Additionally, PlayStation fans will receive access to post-release DLC content and additional outfits for Tania, including an exclusive PlayStation outfit.

In this dark 2D side-scrolling action fairy tale, players will weave their own story as Tania, the bionically enhanced protagonist sent into the rainforests of Horace Islands in search of a missing Investigation Force. Upon arrival, Tania discovers a dark Karpas energy flooding through the islands, mutating animals and plants into deadly anathemorphs. As she ventures deeper into the forests, Tania uncovers the centuries-old remains of the 'Eternity,' a long-lost civilization thought to be extinct. Here, she finds the former Altar of the Eternity, ground zero for the Karpas energy source.

Tania's journey truly begins as she discovers ancient secrets buried deep within the ruins, forcing her to uncover the truth of the 'Eternity' and her own origins and destiny. The physical Tania’s Edition of AWAKEN - Astral Blade is set to be released later in 2024 for PlayStation 5, available through European specialist retailers. With its deep narrative and engaging gameplay, the game promises to immerse players in a unique experience filled with mystery and danger.
