Untold Games proudly announced the launch of its latest post-apocalyptic title, City 20, which will enter Early Access on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 23rd. To accompany the announcement, a darkly poetic and atmospheric release date trailer has been unveiled, raising moral questions while showcasing the titular city and its inhabitants in action. The game is a deep, dystopian life simulator based on complex mathematical models that portray life in a sealed-off settlement after the apocalypse.

Players will embark on a dynamic journey for survival, navigating harsh environmental conditions, making difficult societal decisions, and interacting with organized factions. Every choice made will have cascading effects on the world, thanks to the interconnected systems within the game’s social and natural environments. This ensures that each player will have a unique experience, as the world reacts differently to each decision.

During the first 10 hours of content available at Early Access launch, players will be able to explore the city, meet its citizens, and venture into the surrounding ecosystem. The behavior of the local wildlife will dynamically change based on player interactions, offering an evolving wildlife system that grows with the story.

As players gain a foothold within the city, they will be able to acquire, manage, and upgrade their own shelter. This refuge can be expanded by utilizing the game’s electrical and water systems, eventually becoming a self-sufficient safehouse.

Within the city, two distinct factions control separate areas and exclusive technologies. Players can build a reputation with each faction to gain access to valuable equipment or choose to sabotage their operations in a bid to shortcut their way to these resources.
