SpaceRocket Games, in partnership with Toplitz Productions, has announced that Permafrost, their highly anticipated survival game set in a frozen urban open world, will be playable at the October Steam Next Fest. The game invites players to immerse themselves in a harsh environment where survival is not just a choice but a necessity.

From October 14 to 21, players will have their first chance to experience the arctic-like temperatures brought about by a catastrophic event that nearly wiped out humanity. Survival will require exploration, creativity, and sheer willpower as players build intricate shelters from scrap, grow crops to stave off hunger, and use technology to fend off both human and environmental threats. In Permafrost, the harsh cold will directly impact characters' abilities as they fight for survival in a world where every resource matters.

The game's mechanics challenge players to navigate treacherous conditions, hunt elusive prey, and repurpose machinery to craft essential tools. This detailed blend of resource management and deep survival mechanics promises an engaging post-apocalyptic experience. The upcoming demo offers a unique opportunity for survival game enthusiasts to test their skills in this immersive, modern-day frozen wasteland.

The urban landscape, covered in ice and fraught with dangers, will push players to their limits. Every decision could be the difference between life and death, with the unforgiving environment acting as a constant threat. The combination of exploration, survival, and creative problem-solving sets this title apart in the genre.

For more details on the game, players can visit its official page on Steam to stay updated and prepare for the challenges that lie ahead in this chilling post-apocalyptic world.
