EXBO has announced the release of the winter update for STALCRAFT: X, titled "Operation Cryostasis." In this new season, players will face icy challenges in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, immersed in a unique atmosphere blending mystery, danger, and festive cheer.

Highlights include discovering winter-themed artifacts and anomalies, battling frozen mutants, and challenging seasonal bosses. Players can also decorate their own Christmas trees, adding a festive touch to their adventures. Each decoration earns points that can be accumulated for greater daily rewards.

Decorations can be found in boxes and barrels, scattered gifts across various locations, human campgrounds, mutant dens, and through special seasonal events and bosses. At the end of the event, a leaderboard will determine rewards, with all participants receiving exclusive prizes based on their performance.

Among the rewards, the update introduces unique seasonal items, including the powerful Antares Exosuit—a scientific armor specially designed for the extreme conditions of the Zone. Additionally, faction safes can now be found in the northern region, giving players a chance to loot valuable gear.
