Skyward Extraction, the upcoming cooperative roguelike with light horror elements developed by Naughty Clogs, arrives tomorrow, September 24, in Early Access on Steam, with a free demo already available. Players will have the chance to explore the dangerous world of Relencost, a planet ravaged by an ancient conflict where a magical storm has forced survivors to live above the clouds.

In this post-apocalyptic setting, the most feared location is the Stormwall, a treacherous area explored only by the bravest or the most greedy. In teams, players must navigate these depths, facing various enemies like goblins, giant scorpions, and the dreaded Stormbeasts, all while gathering valuable resources and contending with the storm’s consequences.

With permanent character progression and procedurally generated maps, each incursion into the Stormwall promises to be unique. Players can customize their abilities and equipment, such as the Grapple Pack for climbing, the Mule Pack to expand inventory, and the Glider Pack for increased efficiency in aerial crossings. Resource collection and survival will depend on strategic cooperation and proximity chat communication.
