Developed by Everplay DMCC and published by Brightika, Warhounds is a hardcore turn-based tactics game set in an alternative near-future Africa, in which the player commands an elite mercenary unit in a full narrative campaign where each mission directly influences the balance of an ongoing regional war.

The core distinction of the experience lies in the complete absence of randomness in combat, since there are no percentage-based hit chances and no point-blank misses, and all outcomes are determined by positioning, cover, elevation, and line of fire, which ensures that every movement and every shot has clear and immediate consequences.

Missions last between twenty-five and forty minutes, are designed as cinematic set pieces, and emphasize flanking, verticality, and destructible cover, while introducing a cone-based overwatch system that replaces binary reactions with more precise spatial control.

Five distinct classes shape squad composition, with clearly defined roles and strong loadout synergy, including Assault, Sniper, Machine Gunner, Grenadier, and Specialist, allowing for varied tactical approaches without sacrificing battlefield clarity.

Outside combat, the player manages a mobile headquarters aboard a seized cargo ship, where recruitment, medical treatment, supply management, intelligence gathering, and access to a black market directly influence the course of the campaign.

At the strategic level, faction and diplomacy systems unlock missions and equipment while dynamically altering the world state according to player decisions, creating a progression in which every choice affects both the map and political relationships.

Currently, Warhounds is preparing a public demo for Steam Next Fest, supported by a gameplay trailer designed to boost the demo launch and wishlist momentum, while the official Steam store page is scheduled to go live alongside the trailer announcement, reinforcing the project’s debut moment.
