No Brakes Games, known for the successful Human Fall Flat, has announced Tiny Flock, a new puzzle game developed exclusively for virtual reality and scheduled to launch on PCVR and Meta Quest in 2026. The experience puts players in the role of a shepherd responsible for guiding a small flock of sheep through 21 handcrafted three dimensional diorama worlds, featuring fully interactive environments and challenges based on physics, creativity, and exploration.

Tomas Sakalauskas, CEO of No Brakes Games, explained that the project was born from the intention to create an experience that takes advantage of features impossible to reproduce on a conventional screen. "Tiny Flock is our desire to make something really good, polished and ambitious that is strictly VR, with interactions impossible on a flat screen. Even though VR isn't as popular as it once was, we're making it because we're incredibly proud of what we've accomplished and wanted to create something that could only exist in VR. It takes the Human Fall Flat philosophy for its worlds and puzzles and pushes it into interactions unique to VR."

The puzzles are designed to offer multiple solutions, allowing players to build bridges, move objects, activate mechanisms, and clear obstacles to create a safe path for the flock. The design encourages experimentation and supports both carefully planned approaches and more improvised solutions, giving players freedom to use elements found throughout each environment to overcome challenges.

The Meta Quest version will feature full hand tracking and pass through support, while the game uses a custom physics engine developed to provide more tactile and responsive interactions. The experience will also include achievements and collectibles for players who want to explore further, alongside an original cello soundtrack designed to complement the cozy atmosphere of the puzzles.

The game is scheduled to launch in 2026 for PCVR and Meta Quest, combining handcrafted three dimensional worlds, interactive physics, and mechanics designed specifically for virtual reality.
