The interactive adventure Finding Polka presents a heartwarming hide and seek journey inspired by the peaceful rhythm of everyday life in Japan, inviting players to explore hand drawn environments in search of a very special four legged companion. Developed by Lidlocks and published by Parco Games, the game is scheduled to launch for PC via Steam on August 12, 2026.

The story follows Friendy, who lives a peaceful life alongside her dachshund Jazz. During one of their walks through town, the pair spot a French Bulldog that looks remarkably similar to Polka, Jazz's childhood dog. Driven by memories of the past, they begin following the dog without realizing that an ordinary stroll is about to become an unforgettable adventure filled with discoveries.

Created by Japanese solo developer Shinnosuke Kumazawa, the project blends slice of life storytelling with surreal elements, ballpoint pen illustrations, and exploration guided by a canine sense of curiosity. The game also serves as a tribute to the developer's beloved late dog, keeping its memory alive through the character Polka.

Players will travel across bustling towns, quiet forests, and scenic coastlines filled with hidden secrets, friendly characters, and minigames scattered throughout the journey. Along the way, they will encounter unforgettable residents, including patient giraffes and permanently hungry cats, who may become loyal friends in return for small acts of kindness.

The story unfolds without dialogue, relying on expressive animations, delicate sound design, and heartfelt gestures to convey its emotions. The experience celebrates unexpected encounters, simple acts of kindness, and the joy of wandering without haste, reminding players that every step of the journey can be just as meaningful as reaching the destination.
