No More Robots and Ragesquid are incredibly excited to announce that Descenders Next, the sequel to the massive extreme sports hit Descenders, will be released on April 9 for Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and X, priced at $29.99 / £24.99 / 29.99 euros. The game will also be available on Game Pass for PC and Xbox.

The original title, launched in 2018, has captivated over 35 million players with its mountain biking experience. Now, the new version expands the action by introducing multiple downhill sports. At launch, players will be able to tackle challenges with snowboarding and mountainboarding, with new sports coming in future updates.

Beyond the variety of sports, the game now allows up to 12 players to ride the same mountains, making races and tricks even more thrilling. Those who prefer a solo experience can explore the world freely, pulling off stunts and uncovering secret areas in vast, detailed biomes.

The courses are designed to balance the best of both worlds: handcrafted tracks and procedurally generated maps, ensuring a dynamic and unpredictable experience. The goal is for players to venture off the beaten path and encounter unique challenges along the way.
