Sweden-based indie developer Shotgun Anaconda has announced that its brand-new, high-octane shooter, DeadWire, will be part of Steam Next Fest next week. To mark the occasion, a fresh PC demo is now available and will remain playable throughout the event, running from February 24 to March 3, 2025. However, time is limited—this demo will self-destruct on March 31, making it a fleeting opportunity for players eager to experience its action-packed gameplay. A brand-new trailer has also been released, showcasing the game’s neon-soaked cyberpunk world.

Set in a futuristic metropolis, the game follows Wire, a skilled hacker on a mission to dismantle ruthless criminal organizations threatening his childhood home. Combining fast-paced combat with an innovative hacking system, the game allows players to manipulate their surroundings and enemies alike. Using the Rewire Mode, players can hack and link adversaries, vehicles, and even environmental objects, turning them into deadly weapons.
