Alpha Response is the new project from Gooseman, creator of the legendary original Counter-Strike mod, published by Ultimo Ratio Games. The title is a fast-paced action game focused on singleplayer and co-op modes, where players take on the role of police officers battling criminals and terrorist organizations. Various missions unfold across a large open urban map, filled with civilians and moving vehicles, with support for solo play or up to four players cooperatively.

The setting is one of the game’s major highlights. All operations take place in a living city, with pedestrians walking the streets and environments ranging from massive metro stations to cathedrals, industrial factories, and other indoor and outdoor locations. This dynamic creates a constant sense of urgency and danger, requiring extra attention to avoid collateral damage during engagements.

The large-scale open world is structured with missions scattered throughout the map, requiring players to drive between different operation points. Tasks include hostage rescues, bomb defusals, VIP escorts, and many other objectives. Each mission can be approached in different ways, with enemies appearing in varied locations each time, ensuring replayability and tactical unpredictability.

Enemy diversity also adds to the challenge. In addition to armed human combatants, players will face vicious attack dogs and armored vehicles, including helicopters and heavily protected cars. These units can transport reinforcements into the conflict zone or launch direct attacks on the players, demanding quick and adaptable strategies.

The available arsenal is vast, including pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, grenades, and ballistic shields, with many weapons customizable with attachments like scopes and silencers. This variety of equipment allows each player to choose the combat style that best suits the mission and their team.

Among future plans for the Early Access period, the development team promises to focus on community-driven improvements such as game balancing, AI adjustments, and critical bug fixes. Planned updates also include graphic enhancements, joystick and controller support, plus the addition of new missions, weapons, playable police characters, and entirely new enemy types.

With a concept that blends tactical combat and high-intensity action, the project aims to deliver a challenging and cooperative experience for fans of realistic urban shooter games. The promise is a title in constant evolution, shaped by feedback from the global community.
