Xsolla, a global company specializing in video game commerce, confirms its participation in the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025, which will take place from March 17 to 21 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. During the event, the company will showcase a series of new solutions aimed at developers, expanding opportunities for funding, marketing, launching, and monetizing games as part of its "We Bring Opportunities Together" initiative.


Chris Hewish, the company's Chief Strategy Officer, emphasizes Xsolla's commitment to removing barriers for developers and facilitating business growth in the industry. GDC represents a crucial moment to connect game creators with innovative solutions that span from the launch phase to expansion into new markets, ensuring greater profitability for projects.


Xsolla's participation in the event will bring significant advancements to its core offerings, including enhancements to its virtual store, cloud gaming solutions, new payment approaches for the MENA region, and groundbreaking revenue-generating tools. These updates aim to meet the ever-evolving demands of developers and strengthen the player experience.


Among the highlights is the Xsolla Web Shop, which has already launched over 500 stores and introduces new features such as Progressive Web Apps, automated regional pricing, and a customizable loyalty program. The platform has also improved its cloud gaming solution, offering new user acquisition tools, including the "Play Before You Buy" feature, which allows players to try games via streaming before purchasing.


Another key highlight is the expansion of payment coverage in the MENA region, with the addition of 11 new local payment methods, extending reach to 380 million players. Additionally, the Xsolla Publishing Suite is strengthening as a direct-to-consumer (D2C) commerce solution, giving developers greater control over distribution, monetization, and marketing strategies.


During GDC 2025, the company will promote various community-focused initiatives, such as sponsoring the Day of the Devs event, dedicated to independent games, as well as hosting interactive activities at its official booth located in the Moscone West lobby. There will also be an Open House at the company's headquarters, allowing developers and industry professionals to explore new opportunities in a more relaxed environment.


In addition to product presentations, the agenda includes meetings with experts, panels on industry trends, and exclusive events such as the Xsolla GDC Mixer and Game Night, where participants can network, share experiences, and explore new solutions to boost their businesses in the gaming world.
