Xsolla has shipped six major product releases at once. Mobile teams now have the Web Shop Ecosystem, a direct-to-consumer package built for mobile gaming specifically. PC teams get a new engagement suite anchored by a Community Hub. And across the board, studios gain more than 15 additional local payment methods, an upgraded AI Toolkit with a new CLI, an AI-assisted setup flow that takes a publisher from account creation to a live web shop, a bigger creator marketing platform, and a fresh backend partnership with AccelByte.

The six releases tackle different problems, but they're built on the same premise: studios shouldn't need a platform team just to own their relationship with players.

Mobile Gets a Full Commerce Stack

Mobile is where direct-to-consumer sales are most mature, and Xsolla Web Shop, already powering upward of 800 mobile storefronts, has expanded accordingly. The new Web Shop Ecosystem unifies four areas, Core, Engagement, Monetization, and Operations, inside one Mobile Games Account on Xsolla.com. Loyalty programs, subscriptions, chat commerce, and no-code LiveOps, complete with analytics and attribution, now run through a single integration alongside a studio's existing storefronts. Checkout is just one moment; the acquisition, engagement, and live-ops work surrounding it, the part most studios can't build in-house, is now built into the same system.

None of that matters if the storefront can't close the sale, and in many markets it can't, because checkout doesn't support the payment method players actually use. Xsolla Payments has rolled out 15-plus new local payment options across three continents, including ShopeePay (Philippines), Konbini 7/11 (Japan), Zip Co (Australia), Wero (Germany and Belgium), CliQ (Jordan), and Aeropay's Pay by Bank (United States). Each runs through the existing Xsolla Payments integration, meaning every new method is a new market unlocked, no additional payment code required.

PC Studios Get Tools to Build Direct Player Relationships

Selling through an app store or PC platform puts a game in front of players but it's the platform that owns the relationship, not the studio. Xsolla's new Publishing Suite is meant to fix that. Its centerpiece, the Community Hub, gives studios a branded space for news, quests, loyalty, user-generated content, and referrals with first-party player data staying in the studio's hands. Supporting features include a no-code Live Ops Event Template for in-store seasonal promotions, a Cosmetic Items Showcase with video product pages for skins and premium content, in-Launcher notifications for pushing patch notes and offers straight to players, and self-service onboarding built for PC studios. The result: player engagement that happens on a surface the studio controls, on its own schedule, with the data to match.

Toolkit, CLI, and Creator Network Upgrades for All Studios

Xsolla's free AI Toolkit now includes CLI support, so developers can go from a brand-new publisher account to a functioning web shop in one sitting. The CLI creates the account, generates API credentials, and configures webhooks, while the Toolkit guides integration inside AI coding tools developers are already using, Claude Code and Cursor among them, and checks each step before anything is deployed. That replaces a setup process that used to involve reading documentation, manually provisioning accounts, and debugging AI-generated code that looked fine until it broke in production.

Xsolla is also expanding its creator marketing arm to reach the players studios haven't found yet, the ones who hear about games from creators, not ads. The Xsolla Partner Network is now built into the Xsolla Publisher Account, where developers already handle day-to-day business. Every creator goes through automated identity verification, campaigns run through one unified workflow with attribution down to individual clicks and dollars, and a recommendation engine surfaces the right creator matches. Flat-fee campaigns are now an option alongside revenue share, with Xsolla covering payments, payouts, taxes, and compliance. A creator program that used to need a full team can now run with one person at the wheel.

Finally, there's the backend layer everything else depends on. Through a new strategic partnership with AccelByte, Xsolla is launching integrated backend solutions that pair AccelByte's player management, matchmaking, store, and analytics tools with Xsolla's own payments, subscriptions, monetization, and identity services. A closed testing program is already underway, with the first partner studios helping shape the feature set before a broader rollout. The question those studios are answering: can backend infrastructure and global payments launch together, without separate teams for each, and get to market faster as a result.

New Experiences for Players, Too

Studios aren't the only ones getting something new. At gamescom, Xsolla is debuting three player-facing experiences alongside a first look at the rewards engine that ties them together, all built on one idea: what a player earns should belong to that player.

"Every one of these came from the same conversation with developers, just at a different point in the journey," said Chris Hewish, President of Xsolla. "How do I find players I can't reach, close sales I'm losing, keep the players I've earned, and do it all without hiring a team I can't afford? The same runs to the player side. A five-dollar card shouldn't be a one-time purchase. It should start a relationship between a player, their games, and the things they collect."

Six products, one purpose: giving studios everything they need to launch, grow, and monetize their games on their own terms, the storefronts, the players, the shops, the sales, the creators, and the backend that ties it all together.
