Washington Prime was unveiled by Ultra CDG as its newest project, with publishing support from Perfect Random, serving as a tribute to the classic first person shooters of the 1990s. Built on the DOOM engine, the game combines the aesthetics and fast paced action of the era's shooters with modernized gameplay elements, arriving on Steam alongside a demo and teaser that offer a glimpse of what is to come.

The story follows Blake Kincaid, a former federal agent who traded action for a career in real estate, only to find himself pulled back into a dangerous conspiracy. Set in downtown Washington, D.C., in October 1998, the campaign unfolds through the protagonist's recollections, building a mystery that blends intense action with cinematic storytelling. The experience also incorporates locally produced full motion video sequences to enhance the atmosphere of the narrative.

The available arsenal aims to faithfully recreate the weapons used in the late 1990s, delivering encounters that emphasize a sense of authenticity. Players will face a variety of threats inspired by the everyday environment of offices and corporate buildings in the nation's capital, creating unusual situations within a recognizable urban setting.

The recreation of the environments also plays a central role in the game's vision. The business districts of downtown Washington, D.C. have been reconstructed with close attention to detail, allowing players to explore commercial buildings, hallways, and offices that reflect the city's visual identity during that period. Through this combination of nostalgia, historical atmosphere, and updated mechanics, the title seeks to appeal to both veterans of classic shooters and newcomers interested in experiences inspired by the genre's golden age.
