Dutch developer Gamious has released Turmoil: Deeper Underground on Steam, offering players a brand-new DLC experience for the popular oil-tycoon strategy game Turmoil. This new campaign, set in the Roaring Twenties, introduces innovative mechanics focused on refining oil into petrol, as well as new resources like water, dynamite, and rubies, and the creation of highly profitable petrol.

Highlights include the ability to dig deeper into the ground with new Deep Mode levels, new playable characters and NPCs, and all-new areas and levels to explore. Additionally, a new town has been added with fresh shops and even a Saloon mini-game called Dice Dice Dice.

Turmoil: Deeper Underground stays true to the fun and reliable gameplay that fans of the series love while introducing new challenges and opportunities to enhance the experience.

Creative Director Jos Bouman shared that the DLC wasn’t originally planned: "Some interesting ideas just popped into our heads, and after a few experiments, we validated their potential. Two years later, Deeper Underground is here!" Now, players can prepare for a new era in oil drilling and start making big money.

With its charming visuals and tongue-in-cheek approach to the simulation genre inspired by the 19th-century oil rush in North America, Turmoil continues to captivate players. The new DLC is now available on Steam and can also be purchased as part of the All You Can Drill bundle, which includes the original game and the previous DLC, Turmoil: The Heat is On.
