Toge Productions kicked off its 16th anniversary with a series of exciting announcements during the Toge Productions Anniversary Direct 2025, streamed on January 17th. The celebration includes the unveiling of new games, updates to beloved titles, and a major publisher sale offering discounts of up to 90% across platforms from January 17th to 24th. Among the highlights is Compensation Not Guaranteed, a document-checking thriller from Team Project Lunch set in a post-colonial Southeast Asian nation undergoing rapid development.

In Compensation Not Guaranteed, players step into the role of a government official tasked with verifying land ownership claims. The narrative-driven experience challenges players to navigate a web of deception and truth as they determine citizens' eligibility for compensation. The game’s rich storytelling and meticulous gameplay promise a unique blend of tension and strategy.

The highly anticipated Whisper Mountain Outbreak, an isometric co-op PvE survival horror game, is slated for release in Q3 2025. Players will face supernatural threats, solve puzzles, and battle fearsome creatures in a test of teamwork and resilience. With its atmospheric design and intense gameplay, the game aims to deliver a thrilling multiplayer experience.

On the anniversary day itself, Saber Survivors and Cats & Seek: Toge Land were released. Saber Survivors, an action-packed roguelite developed in collaboration with Reima Project, lets players take on waves of enemies as a Space Wizard Samurai. Meanwhile, Cats & Seek: Toge Land, created in partnership with Noobzilla, is a free game featuring over 100 cats inspired by Toge Productions’ staff and community.

Additional announcements include updates for existing games and platforms. Kriegsfront Tactics will debut on consoles, published by Chorus Worldwide, while A Space for the Unbound is set to arrive on the App Store on April 4th, 2025. Fans of the Coffee Talk series were also thrilled to learn about Coffee Talk Tokyo, a spin-off developed in collaboration with Chorus Worldwide.

In honor of their late friend Mohammad Fahmi, Toge Productions also spotlighted the upcoming release of Afterlove EP. Directed by Fahmi, this heartfelt narrative game will be available on February 14th, 2025, across multiple platforms, serving as a touching tribute to his legacy.

The anniversary festivities are further complemented by the limited-time Aqua plushie campaign on Makeship, starting January 17th.
