Thing Trunk and Skystone Games have announced the release of the new Bruja DLC for Hellcard, available on Steam starting August 22 for $5.99. Hellcard is a cooperative deck-building roguelike game where players descend into paper dungeons, recruiting AI companions or joining other players in fast-paced tactical card battles against the armies of darkness and the Archdemon.

To celebrate the launch of the Bruja DLC, Hellcard will host a free weekend on Steam from August 22 to 26. During this period, everyone can experience the new changes and explore the dungeons with friends. Additionally, the base game will be 40% off.

The Bruja DLC introduces a powerful character who has mastered blood magic to manipulate the forces of light and darkness. Capable of transmuting strengths and weaknesses against her enemies, she becomes a formidable force in the depths of the dungeons. Players will be able to unlock her as a party member in this new expansion.

In addition to the Bruja character, the base game will receive a major update with 45 new cards for the Warrior, Mage, and Fixer classes. Even without the DLC, players can enlist Bruja as a companion in single-player mode and test her deck.
