The German indie studio VoodooDuck announced that Collector's Cove will take part in the upcoming Steam Next Fest, bringing a freshly updated demo to the public. The event runs from February 23 to March 2, giving players the chance to experience the project’s cozy concept ahead of its full release.

The title is a cozy collection and exploration adventure set on the high seas, in which the player cultivates a floating farm on the deck of a ship. The journey unfolds alongside a friendly dinosaur companion, responsible for guiding the vessel across the oceans and turning each voyage into a relaxing experience full of discoveries.

Throughout the campaign, players can sail through uncharted waters, explore new islands, and find new crops and rare fish. These activities are part of the quest to become a Named Collector, filling every page of a compendium dedicated to recording all items discovered during the adventure.

Beyond farming and exploration, the game encourages personalisation and bonding. Players can strengthen their friendship with the dinosaur, customise its appearance and abilities, and craft useful items from gathered materials, transforming the boat into a true floating home in Collector's Cove.
