Swiss Game Hub has officially announced the creation of the Gamespace Conference, a new international conference dedicated to the games industry. The event will take place in Zurich over two days from October 8 to 9, 2026, bringing together professionals from around the world to discuss the current landscape of game development and strengthen connections within the sector.

Hosted at the hub’s own facilities, the initiative aims to create a cozy and open environment for the exchange of ideas among developers, studios and industry professionals. The proposal also highlights the goal of shining a spotlight on the creativity and talent present in the Swiss game development scene.

During the program, participants will be able to attend a wide range of activities focused on both development and business aspects of the industry. Talks, panels, game pitches and workshops are planned, offering opportunities for new projects and ideas to be presented to professionals and potential partners from the international market.

The organization also announced that a call for content and speakers will open soon, allowing professionals from across the industry to contribute to the conference program. "We will soon open our call for content and provide more information about the Gamespace Conference."

Founded in late 2019, the Swiss Game Hub has become a central location for the indie game development scene in Zurich, functioning as a coworking space for knowledge sharing, cultural exchange and collaboration. Located in the historic ABB factory halls, the hub hosts more than 140 developers across 2400 square meters and is home to over 35 studios, including Stray Fawn Studio, blobfish, Indoor Astronaut, as well as creators such as Timon Herzog and Zarkonnen, reinforcing the space as one of the most active creative hubs in the region.
