Fire Foot Studios has unveiled Splizards, a cooperative survival and building adventure set in the depths of space, where up to four players control small creatures exploring alien environments aboard a moving asteroid. The experience combines exploration, resource gathering, and base building with physics-driven interactions that allow players to use their sticky tongues to pull themselves toward one another, share materials, and interact with the environment, creating situations where teamwork can quickly lead to unexpected accidents.

Exploring floating islands scattered throughout the vastness of space allows players to discover raw materials, organic resources, ores, and hidden secrets in unfamiliar environments. The materials collected can be transformed into handcrafted tools and structures to expand the mobile base, including walls, platforms, storage compartments, and machines that help prepare the group for the challenges ahead.

Building the spaceship is central to survival, requiring players to organize available resources and develop structures capable of withstanding the dangers of space. Working together, transporting materials, and using improvised tools offer different approaches to expanding the group's shelter, while the creatures' physics-based interactions create opportunities for mistakes and chaotic situations during cooperative tasks.

Combat is also part of the gameplay loop, pitting players against hostile creatures that threaten the team during expeditions. Enemies include space mosquitoes and other threats that require players to master their available weapons and coordinate their efforts to overcome dangerous encounters and earn rewards. Balancing exploration, defense, and construction makes teamwork essential to progressing through the alien environment, where improvisation can be just as important as planning.
