Bluepoch has announced that Reverse: 1999, its 20th century time travel strategy RPG, will receive its first globally synchronized version update on July 23. The update will bring the highly anticipated collaboration with Atomic Heart to PC and mobile players, ensuring that users around the world gain access to the new content at the same time.

The crossover combines the RPG's narrative driven experience with the retrofuturistic world of the popular first person shooter, introducing an original story inspired by Atomic Heart's alternate history setting. The update also adds two playable characters, The Twins and Nora, each with their own storylines, while Vertin, X, Madam Lucy, and Mesmer Jr. travel to Facility 3826 to explore the events of the collaboration. New themed outfits inspired by the franchise's distinctive retrofuturistic aesthetic will also be available for existing characters.

Among the gameplay highlights is The Twins, a collaboration character obtainable through an exclusive summon banner featuring an additional reward system. The duo becomes the first dual Afflatus character in the game, capable of dealing damage across two Afflatus types while simultaneously equipping two exclusive Psychubes, combining the full base stats and unique effects of both items.

The Analysis of Metallic Dramaturgy banner will feature milestone rewards for players. Upon reaching 100 summons for the first time, players will be able to choose either one copy of The Twins or a Suitcase Impression, a new item that allows the selection of a six star character from a specific Afflatus available in the collaboration's Standard Pool. Additional reward selections will also become available at 160, 220, and 280 summons, expanding players' progression options.

The update will also allow players to recruit Nora for free by completing in game activities and will include one of the largest reward campaigns ever released by the developer. Confirmed bonuses include more than 110 free pulls, a free monthly pass, a free Brimley garment, and numerous additional anniversary style rewards.

During the special livestream dedicated to the collaboration, the development team also unveiled a promotional code that grants players free rewards. The announced code is AtomicHeartCollab0723, which can be redeemed to claim bonuses related to the event.
