IO Interactive, the independent developer and publisher known for the acclaimed HITMAN franchise, has announced the return of the Elusive Target mission titled "The Drop." This special mission features the likeness and voiceover of Superstar DJ Dimitri Vegas and will be available globally across multiple platforms, including PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC. The mission will be accessible from Thursday, September 12th, to Monday, October 14th.

In "The Drop," players are tasked with eliminating an international DJ-turned-drug lord, modeled after the famous DJ Dimitri Vegas. This mission is part of the Free Starter pack, making it accessible to newcomers, while HITMAN World of Assassination players can also enjoy it for free during the event.

In conjunction with the mission, a special DLC pack will be launched on September 12th, providing players with permanent access to "The Drop" mission. The pack also includes a new outfit, various items, and a set of cosmetics for the freelancer house, adding to the game's customization options.

To enhance the experience, a detailed roadmap will be released when "The Drop" returns, outlining new challenges and the reappearance of previous Elusive Targets. Additionally, players can look forward to a new Twitch Drop that will be available after the mission begins, offering further incentives to engage with the game during this period.
