Red Dunes Games and Agate have announced that Port of Jumanah is now available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation. The launch is accompanied by a new trailer showcasing fast paced underwater expeditions, exotic sea creatures, colorful environments, and a port that evolves as players progress through the adventure.
The game puts players in the role of Mansour, a pearl diver embarking on an adventure filled with dangerous waters and unexpected encounters. During each expedition, players can battle sea monsters, test new equipment and upgrades, and make decisions that influence the course of their journeys, while resources discovered beneath the surface can be brought back to shore.
Returning to Jumanah's port is an important part of progression, as materials recovered during dives and new allies encountered along the way contribute to rebuilding the region and unlocking new possibilities for future expeditions. The progression system also allows players to experiment with different equipment combinations to overcome increasingly dangerous challenges in the depths.
The adventure features a diverse cast of characters who can either assist or complicate the journey, adding new possibilities to each expedition. The combination of exploration, equipment upgrades, reconstruction, and player decisions creates an experience that blends fantasy, humor, and action within a colorful maritime setting.
“Port of Jumanah is an homage to our region's Pearl Diving history...with a delightful touch of nonsense. At its heart is an upbeat Arabian regular guy who always seems to encounter dangerous and often cute things (but mostly dangerous) with a cheerful disposition and sheer grit. Whether you play casually or hardcore, just remember the often-forgotten rule of the sea: if it looks suspicious, it probably is. Enjoy, habibi.”, said Sultan Darmaki, CEO and Creative Director at Red Dunes Games.
The game combines a setting inspired by the region's pearl diving history with a lighthearted approach, placing Mansour in situations involving dangerous creatures, unusual encounters, and consequences tied to his choices. With the gradual reconstruction of the port and expeditions that offer different dangers and opportunities, the title aims to provide an experience suited to both casual sessions and players interested in exploring its progression systems in greater depth.
