Pixel Washer launched its Steam demo during The MIX Summer Games Showcase, following an announcement from Acclaim, Inc. and Valadria. The preview introduces players to the game's relaxing premise, centered on cleaning dirt covered environments across a world built entirely with pixel art.

The experience places players in the role of a hardworking little pig tasked with restoring a variety of neglected locations. Equipped with a trusty power washer, players must remove layers of grime to reveal colorful artwork hidden beneath the dirt, transforming rundown areas into vibrant and detailed scenes.

The demo features six distinct stages, each presenting its own cleaning challenges, along with a special mini game map designed to test players' focus and concentration. The preview also grants access to two different power washers, each offering unique capabilities for tackling various cleaning tasks.

Progression rewards players for their work, allowing them to earn money that can be invested in stronger equipment, additional vehicles, and new tools. This system expands customization options while encouraging players to continually improve their ability to restore the environments they encounter.
