Nano Knight Studio has released a new trailer for Pimbolas, confirming the game's launch on July 16 via Steam. Inspired by traditional foosball, the party game delivers fast paced matches filled with action, modifiers, and random gameplay elements that completely transform the flow of every match. The experience combines simple controls with quick sessions, making it accessible to players of all skill levels, whether they are looking for competitive gameplay or casual fun with friends.

The gameplay expands on the classic tabletop sport by introducing different arenas, characters, power-ups, and modifiers that constantly reshape every match. Players can compete using giant balls, square balls, fireballs, ice balls, explosive bombs, coconuts, crabs, giant planets, and many other gameplay elements that create unexpected situations and encourage quick thinking and improvisation.

According to the studio, one of the main goals during development was to ensure that no two matches would ever feel the same. The wide variety of modifiers creates new challenges every round, rewarding fast decision making and opening the door for dramatic comebacks at any moment.

In addition to local multiplayer for up to four players, the game also includes an Arcade Mode for those who prefer to play solo against the CPU. Even so, the developers believe the experience truly shines when played locally with friends, encouraging friendly rivalries and memorable moments together.

The combination of fast paced gameplay, intuitive controls, and dozens of gameplay modifiers was designed to keep every match engaging from start to finish. The team's goal is to deliver an experience centered on competition, excitement, and, above all, plenty of laughter, making a single session easily turn into hours of entertainment.

To shape its identity, the project draws inspiration from some of the most popular multiplayer games of recent years, including Boomerang Fu, Mario Strikers, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros., and Mario Tennis. At the same time, the studio believes players who enjoy games such as Overcooked, Gang Beasts, Castle Crashers, Party Animals, and Boomerang Fu will find familiar ideas presented through a unique gameplay experience.

The game also aims to balance accessibility with long term depth, allowing anyone to quickly learn the basics while keeping players engaged through countless combinations of modifiers across dozens of matches. This variety ensures that every round offers new gameplay possibilities and encourages different strategies.

At launch, players will also find a collaboration between Brazilian studios featuring unlockable characters inspired by Shard Squad, the bullet heaven game developed by The Root Studios and published by Nuntius Games. The crossover expands the available content from day one while highlighting the strength of Brazil's independent game development scene.

Nano Knight Studio says this collaboration is only the first step in a broader plan to expand the game's universe through partnerships with other indie titles and well known members of the gaming community. Future collaborations are expected to introduce even more playable characters, keeping the experience fresh while offering players additional customization options.
