Paris Game Biz 2026 opens applications for studios interested in taking part in the third edition of its business event dedicated to the games industry, which will be held on October 20 and 21, 2026, at Espace Cléry in Paris. Organized by Capital Games, the initiative brings together studios, publishers, and international investors with the goal of creating business opportunities through targeted meetings. French and international studios can now submit their projects to participate in the selection process (https://my.weezevent.com/parisgamebiz2026-projectsubmission).

The event returns for its third edition at a time of significant transformation across the industry. Although the French video game market reached 5.856 billion euros in 2025, recording the second highest result in its history and reinforcing France's position as the third largest gaming market in Europe, development studios continue to face challenges related to funding and investment.

David Rabineau, Chairman of Capital Games, highlighted that the strength of the consumer market does not fully reflect the reality faced by independent developers. According to him, "Private investment has declined significantly on a global scale by about 55% even as the creativity of independent studios has never been stronger.", said David Rabineau, Chairman of Capital Games.

The organization notes that publishers have been committing to projects later and later in the development cycle, reducing funding opportunities during the early stages of production. In this context, Paris Game Biz aims to connect studios with international investors and publishers through carefully organized meetings, providing an environment focused exclusively on business negotiations and strategic partnerships.

The third edition aims to bring together 90 studios and 45 international publishers and investors through a structured matchmaking format designed to maximize the value of every meeting. Studio selection will be conducted by a jury of industry professionals, who will evaluate both the quality and potential of each project and its compatibility with the interests of participating companies. The event is open to studios at any stage of development.

Interested studios can submit their projects starting on July 27. All applicants will receive a document outlining the editorial guidelines of the participating publishers, regardless of whether they are selected. The application fee is 50 euros, excluding taxes, per submitted project.

Following the evaluation stage, selected projects will be invited to confirm their participation, securing access to two days of business meetings, networking activities, and industry workshops held at Espace Cléry. Participation at this stage costs 490 euros, excluding taxes, per registered participant.

Feedback from previous editions also reinforces the event's value. "Paris Game Biz offers the perfect mix of tailored business opportunities and a modern cultural vibe in the heart of Paris, redefining the very concept of a truly relevant games industry B2B event. Highly recommended!", declared Lounge Attack, a studio that participated in Paris Game Biz 2025.
