Capital Games, the French video game cluster based in the Paris region, has confirmed the third edition of Paris Game Biz, a business focused event for the gaming industry scheduled to take place on October 20 and 21, 2026, in Paris. Following the success of its first two editions, the initiative returns with greater ambitions, expanding both participation and its international reach.

The results achieved in 2025 reinforced the event’s growing importance within the industry. That edition brought together 70 studios and 35 international investors and buyers across 515 targeted meetings, creating an environment designed to foster strategic connections. Organizers also highlighted that 93% of participants recommended the event, a figure that helped drive the expansion plans for the upcoming edition.

The 2026 event is expected to welcome nearly 90 selected studios and around 45 publishers and investors, significantly increasing its scale. The program will feature representatives from new regions, a wider variety of editorial profiles, and a broader range of creative projects, strengthening opportunities for collaboration between developers and potential business partners.

David Rabineau, Chairman of Capital Games, emphasized the value of a format dedicated entirely to industry professionals. According to him, “Major industry events are increasingly hybrid, blending general audiences with professionals. Paris Game Biz makes the opposite choice: a 100% business format, designed exclusively to support the development of studios and their projects. Giving studios a rare opportunity to pitch face to face with buyers and publishers who made the trip specifically to meet them. In a context where every opportunity counts, this kind of encounter can change the trajectory of a project.”

Studios are selected by an expert jury and receive publishers’ guidelines in advance, allowing each meeting to be carefully aligned with the interests of both parties. Organizers believe this approach increases the chances of creating new projects and long term partnerships.

The current funding landscape for independent game development also plays a key role in the event’s mission. Capital Games aims to create meaningful business opportunities in an increasingly competitive market by encouraging lasting professional relationships between studios, investors, and publishers.

The 2026 edition will also introduce a new venue. Espace Cléry, a historic Parisian private mansion with deep ties to both the arts and commerce, has been chosen to host the event. The building was once associated with Robert Poquelin, the brother of Molière, as well as the renowned art dealer Le Brun, making it a fitting setting where creativity and business converge.

Among the companies that have already confirmed their attendance are Arte, Focus Entertainment, FunDay Games, Kepler Interactive, Oro Interactive, PlaySide Studios, Raw Fury, and Tencent. Organizers expect these and other participants to gain early access to some of the industry’s most promising projects, further strengthening Paris Game Biz as a key meeting point for business development and investment in the video game sector.
