After a journey marked by updates and new content throughout Early Access, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has officially reached its full release on PC and consoles. Will’s adventure alongside the inhabitants of Tresna concludes the main storyline while expanding the experience with new combat options, equipment, and features focused on both exploration and shop management.

Version 1.0 adds new weapons and armor, as well as the Bomb Path, a combat ability that causes enemies to explode after taking enough hits, dealing damage to nearby opponents. Will’s shop also reaches its maximum level, unlocking additional spaces for Bloblets, new cosmetic options, and more customization possibilities to make Tresna feel like home.

The post game content also takes center stage with the Infinite Endless Vault, which introduces a series of increasingly difficult expeditions filled with gold and challenges designed for players who have mastered the exploration and management systems. The Hardcore mode raises the stakes even further by imposing a severe defeat condition, sending the character back to the beginning of the dungeon if they are defeated.

The sequel retains the foundation established by the original game, placing Will in the role of a merchant and adventurer who must balance dungeon exploration with managing his shop. The campaign entered Early Access in November 2025 and received two major content updates before its full release.

The Greed and Glory update introduced the HEX combat path, the dual Blo-Blitz pistols, and the wave based Greed Colosseum, while Blob-Life Balance added Bloblets as shop companions, a cumulative Poison Path, new weapons, and the Very Hard difficulty level. With the arrival of version 1.0, the adventure is now available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, including Game Pass, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5.
