Moldwasher, the new arcade style cleaning adventure developed by Rubel Games and published by Anshar Publishing, now has a release date. The game will launch on Steam on June 23, 2026, inviting players to take on the role of an unlikely cleaning hero on a mission to restore shine and order to environments overrun by mold and grime.

In the adventure, players control an adorable nigiri sushi armed with a powerful pressure stream to tackle messes spread across kitchens, refrigerator shelves, drawers, freezers, basements, sewers, and even treasure piles. The experience combines lighthearted action, exploration, and a relaxing atmosphere accompanied by a Lo-Fi soundtrack.

The gameplay revolves around cleaning different types of dirt and mold, requiring precision when aiming and switching between cleaning modes. The sense of progression grows as environments gradually regain their original appearance, transforming chaotic spaces into spotless locations.

To overcome the challenges, players can use a variety of tools, including a pressure washer, leaf blower, flamethrower, and pickaxe. Each piece of equipment can be upgraded, allowing players to adapt their strategies to remove tougher grime and deal with increasingly demanding situations.

The environments hide secrets and optional areas that reward curiosity. From forgotten compartments behind freezers to concealed corners inside refrigerators, nearly every location may reveal surprises for those willing to explore beyond the main path.

Alongside environmental obstacles, the adventure also features strange enemies made of mold and dirt. These creatures add an extra layer of challenge, encouraging players to make smart use of their available tools in order to eliminate threats and continue their journey.

The progression system includes unlockable music tracks, cosmetic items for basement customization, and equipment upgrades purchased through the in game shop. This allows players to give their hero a unique look while improving their cleaning efficiency.

The release will also include Steam achievements, the Lo-Fi soundtrack available separately, Steam Deck compatibility, and enhanced controller support. The game will be available in 12 languages, including English, Portuguese, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Turkish, Italian, Polish, and Simplified Chinese.
