Kissaki Studios, an indie studio known for its innovative approach, has announced the official release of Mindbug Online on November 13, 2024, at 2 PM CET, for iOS, Android, and Steam. The game promises to revolutionize the digital card game genre with a unique mechanic that combines accessibility and strategic depth.

Developed in collaboration with Richard Garfield, the renowned creator of Magic: The Gathering, the game introduces the groundbreaking "Mindbug Mechanic," which balances matches by allowing players to use incredibly powerful cards without compromising competitiveness. "From the very first round, it feels like you're right in the endgame. Every decision matters. Matches are fast, intense, and continuously exciting," explains Raphael Parr, game designer at Kissaki Studios.

The game’s success was already evident during its demo debut at the Steam Next Festival in October 2024. Now, with its full release, Mindbug Online promises to deliver a premium and accessible experience. Unlike other games in the genre, it doesn’t follow a trading or pay-to-win model. "True to the philosophy of fair gaming, there are no pay-to-win mechanics—once you own a card set, it’s yours for good," the studio emphasizes.

With a design that puts players right at the heart of the action from the very start and matches that maintain intensity until the end, the title stands out by offering a balanced and inclusive experience. The game is already poised to become a new benchmark in the genre, appealing to both veterans and new players alike.

The card game community is now invited to prepare for the "ultimate duel." Mindbug Online is set to redefine digital entertainment, promising to captivate players with its innovation and engaging gameplay.
