The Looppip demo is now available on Steam, presenting a 2D platforming adventure featuring challenges to save the world from a climate crisis. Developed by Petal Twirl Studio and published by Nuntius Games, the experience puts players in control of a small seed capable of rewinding time by three seconds through an ancient magical hourglass, a mechanic that allows them to overcome obstacles, enemies, and platforming challenges while attempting to rescue bees threatened by the spread of deforestation.

The new playable version expands the available content while maintaining a visual style inspired by classic 16-bit games, combined with a time-rewind mechanic that changes how challenges are approached. The feature allows players to reconsider recent actions and find solutions to situations involving movement, enemies, and puzzles scattered throughout the stages.

The update also adds three fully playable stages, new visual effects and animations, as well as revamped systems from earlier versions. Two new non-playable characters have been discreetly hidden throughout the environments, while bug fixes contribute to a more stable experience. The demo also contains hints about future mechanics that players can discover as they explore.

The narrative explores an environmental crisis caused by the unchecked and excessive expansion of technology, with bees among the species affected by the destruction of their natural habitats. Forest fires devastate fauna and flora, waste dumped into the oceans threatens marine life, and air pollution worsens the consequences of a process in which human progress continues to encroach on areas essential to the preservation of nature.

The conflict also establishes a relationship between technological development and the limits of the natural environment, with the expansion of artificial intelligence becoming part of a scenario in which different forms of life face increasingly severe consequences. In this context, the small seed and the power of the hourglass represent a chance to alter recent events and prevent the devastation from reaching an irreversible point.
