Linkito, a logical puzzle game developed by Kalinarm and published by Playdigious Originals and Kimeria Games, challenges players to manipulate over 100 electrical blocks to solve complex puzzles. From repairing machines to defusing bombs and controlling robots, the game offers a unique experience that has already garnered positive reviews on Steam since its 2024 release.

Kevin Sillam, the creator of Linkito, shared the inspiration behind the game. "Before creating Linkito, I used to design interactive installations that combined elements of video games, theater, and interactive exhibitions. This passion for blending creativity and interactivity inspired me to create the game. I wanted to give players the same creative joy by allowing them to explore and solve puzzles using a wide range of electrical blocks."

The most challenging puzzles in Linkito were designed to stimulate lateral thinking. "Our goal is to encourage players to think outside the box," said Sillam. "For example, some puzzles involve interconnected circuits where a change in one part affects the entire system. By introducing unexpected elements, we create scenarios that force players to use the tools in innovative ways."

With the game's release in July 2024, the team's goals continue to evolve. "Our next major milestone is the release of a free new campaign on October 2nd," Sillam explained. "Additionally, we're focusing on user-generated content, with over 400 levels already created by players. We want to keep empowering the community to expand the game's universe in exciting and unpredictable ways."

The narrative in Linkito also plays a crucial role in engaging players. As engineers from Albatross Technologies, players face challenges directly tied to the story. "The puzzles and the narrative are deeply intertwined. As the story unfolds, new challenges arise, and players are required to approach each puzzle with fresh perspectives. This synergy between story and gameplay enriches the experience, making every solution feel like a meaningful achievement in the unfolding plot."
