NC America, the western arm of NCSOFT, is calling all Lineage II adventurers to embark on a dark and wild journey. The Project Wolf update arrives for free on PC on Tuesday, April 15, bringing a fierce new class and brutal transformations. Players must prepare for intense nights, abandon vegetarian habits, and practice their best howls to face the challenges of this new era.

Inspired by the strength of lycanthropes, the update introduces the Varkas class, allowing warriors to harness the power of werewolves. The transformation not only grants devastating abilities but also enhances the character's resistance and offensive capabilities. With new hunting zones and massive PvP and PvE battles, the world of Aden becomes even more challenging and rewarding. Those who pre-register will gain exclusive advantages, including rare cosmetics and a series of essential consumables for their journey.

Those who venture into the new server will experience character evolution in its wildest form. The Varkas class begins its journey as a human warrior, but as it progresses, it gains access to powerful werewolf abilities. Among these, the Lunatic Fury stands out, amplifying physical attacks and speed, and the Night Hunter, a nocturnal buff that grants extra strength until dawn. Additionally, enemies marked with Claw Stigma become more vulnerable, making battles even more strategic.

Challenges multiply with new PvE and PvP battles. The Fafurion’s Underwater Canyon Battle is a colossal clash where 50 players must join forces against the Water Dragon to conquer valuable rewards. Meanwhile, the Sanctum of Spirits offers daily boss fights, requiring coordination among groups of five players. Other new features include the Crumahum Outpost hunting zone, which grants experience bonuses, and the weekly Dark Legion Annihilation event, where warriors will face hordes of enemies before challenging the final boss near Giran Castle.

For those looking to enhance their experience, the update offers a special launch package for the server, granting access to items such as spellbooks, hero-grade dolls, accessories, and the coveted Wolf Necklace. Pre-registration, which began on Tuesday, March 18, and runs until April 14, is the key to obtaining these benefits and starting the lycanthropic journey with advantages.

Filled with dark mythology and high-intensity battles, NC America's MMORPG maintains its legacy as one of the greatest free-to-play games in the genre. With a vast open world shaped by players, the new update promises to turn nights into true hunting grounds. More details about Project Wolf can be found on the game's official website.
