After five years of development, JHT Games has announced that Infinitevania will officially launch on July 24 for PC via Steam during Flow Games' presentation at Retrocon 2026. The title is a 2D metroidvania platformer inspired by classics such as Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Hollow Knight, blending fast paced combat, exploration, puzzles, character progression, and a story centered on uncovering the mysteries of a vast interconnected world.
Players will travel through a variety of realms filled with powerful creatures, defeating them to absorb their abilities and become stronger throughout the adventure. The ultimate objective is to gather enough power to destroy the core of the Infinitevania and find a way back to the protagonist's own world, while uncovering new locations, hidden secrets, and increasingly demanding challenges.
The combat system encourages players to develop unique strategies for each encounter, requiring constant adaptation against a wide range of enemies. Progression also relies on solving intricate puzzles, navigating environments packed with deadly traps, and collecting upgrades that enhance both abilities and equipment as the journey unfolds.
The production also features a notable Brazilian voice cast, including Ricardo Juarez, the voice of Kratos in the God of War franchise, Francisco Júnior, the voice of Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen, and Luiza Caspary, who voices Ellie in The Last of Us. JHT Games has also confirmed that versions for Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch are planned for a future release.
