In Full Bloom is one of November's releases on Steam, arriving on PC with a surreal first-person exploration and psychological horror experience that combines virtual pet care mechanics inspired by Tamagotchi with the destructive expansion characteristic of Katamari Damacy. Developed by obleak games, the title puts players in charge of feeding a small creature with an insatiable appetite, whose survival depends on constantly consuming everything in its path.
The core gameplay revolves around a seemingly simple objective: keeping the creature alive by meeting its needs and choosing what it should consume. However, as the being grows, its ability to devour its surroundings expands as well, turning everyday objects into small snacks before gradually reaching increasingly massive proportions.
The creature's growth transforms the environments and progressively expands the scale of destruction, taking its consumption from entire neighborhoods to continents and even planets. This evolution creates a contrast between the responsibility of caring for an apparently helpless being and the increasingly absurd consequences of satisfying its appetite.
The visual identity follows this transformation through shifting environments and illustrations inspired by the works of Tim Burton and Junji Ito, reinforcing the experience's unsettling atmosphere. The result combines elements of body horror and surrealism, exploring the discomfort of watching a creature evolve while, despite awakening protective instincts, showing no limits to its hunger.
