On the third day of gamescom asia 2024, the event was packed with highlights, including the kickoff of the CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 Super Premier Tournament. Street Fighter 6 fans were treated to thrilling matches as top esports players from around the world competed for a coveted spot in the finals. Tomorrow, the top 16 will battle it out for the ultimate prize and a prestigious spot in the CAPCOM Cup 11.


The main stage featured sessions by Takayuki Nakayama and Shuhei Matsumoto, the Director and Producer of Street Fighter 6, alongside Ryozo Tsujimoto, the Producer of Monster Hunter Wilds. Meet-and-greet sessions with gaming personalities brought fans face-to-face with their idols, including Andrew Wincott, the voice of Raphael in Baldur's Gate 3, J-pop singer SHIHORI, and cosplayer Xiaoyukiko. A special performance by SHIHORI mesmerized the crowd with her fusion of J-pop and gaming-inspired themes. Her energetic stage presence and captivating voice added a unique flair to the event, leaving attendees spellbound.


Indie games also took center stage, with over 60 titles showcased on the gamescom asia 2024 show floor. Singaporean developers like Dim Sum Games and Springloaded garnered large crowds, while international indie hits gave visitors a chance to explore a wide variety of new experiences.
