gamescom Asia is proud to announce the 13 finalists for The Pitch Competition, one of the event's highlights, taking place from October 17 to 20, 2024, at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. From a pool of 55 indie developers, the top 13 were selected to compete in this prestigious competition. The finalists come from various parts of the world, including Singapore, Thailand, Spain, Brazil, and many others, showcasing the global diversity and talent of the indie scene.


On October 18, the finalists will present their games live on stage at gamescom Asia. The Pitch Competition offers a unique visibility opportunity for developers, connecting them with investors, publishers, and other funding prospects. In addition, the winners will be awarded up to 2,000 SGD in cash prizes and G.Round testing vouchers of the same value.


Developers will compete in three categories: Best Pitch, Best Game Design, and Most Anticipated Game. The jury, comprised of industry experts such as Allan Adham (PlaySide), Bobby Wertheim (Nocturne Games), and Gordon Van Dyke (RawFury), will carefully evaluate each game based on creativity and innovation.


Among the finalists are renowned studios, such as Studio 85 from Brazil with the game Magicards, and BattleBrew Productions from Singapore with Love in Tiny Spaces. Promising titles like Rogue Fantasy from TA Publishing (France) and SUPA TRUPA from The Breach Studios (Spain) also promise to stand out during the event.

    • NAMSON digital (Thailand) - Holiday Party
    • Nanuq (Thailand) - Bounty Brawl
    • Revolution Industry (Thailand) - Skypunk Pirates!
    • Studio 85 (Brazil) – Magicards
    • TA Publishing (France) - Rogue Fantasy
    • The Breach Studios (Spain) - SUPA TRUPA
    • Thoughtfish GmbH (Germany) – Earthscaper


The competition reflects gamescom Asia's commitment to supporting the indie scene, opening doors for new talent and encouraging innovation within the industry.
