The indie game publisher Pineapple Works, in partnership with Deep Root Interactive, has announced the arrival of Endoparasitic on Nintendo Switch and Xbox, available with a 15% launch discount. Known for its unsettling premise and intense survival mechanics, the title challenges players to endure the horrors of a research facility on a remote asteroid after a catastrophic experiment leaves the protagonist with only one remaining limb.

In this hostile environment, players must drag themselves through dimly lit corridors, fending off grotesque mutations while combating the effects of a deadly parasite. Every syringe, every movement, and every shot fired requires careful consideration, amplifying the sense of urgency and vulnerability throughout the experience.

The game distinguishes itself by demanding manual control of every action. From reloading weapons one bullet at a time to managing limited ammunition while navigating dangerous passages, the mechanics create a tense rhythm that constantly tests the player’s focus and adaptability.

Its features include four weapon types, stealth sequences, and intricate puzzles that complement the oppressive survival atmosphere. Health is represented in a unique way: a parasite burrowing into the protagonist’s brain, adding a visual and narrative weight to the constant threat of death.

With ratings of ESRB Mature 17+ and PEGI 18 due to its violent content, the game offers a suspenseful story filled with challenging encounters and encounters with unsettling characters. It positions itself as a survival horror experience that demands precision, patience, and resilience in the face of overwhelming odds.
