The Spring 2026 edition of ENDIX took place on May 23 and 24, concluding with more than 10,000 downloads across Steam and the Epic Games Store. Throughout the weekend, thousands of players from around the world joined the event for free, exploring a virtual expo where they could walk through booths, try games, meet the people behind them, and compete for prizes without the need for tickets, travel, or queues.
This edition introduced significant improvements in design and usability, making the environment easier to navigate through a cleaner layout and clearer signposting. The event also expanded its international presence by welcoming new developers, publishers, content creators, and media outlets from across the globe.
Staying true to one of its defining features, every booth was built using each game's own assets, creating a unique environment for every project. Rather than simply watching trailers, visitors could step into each game's world, explore its settings, experience playable demos, and discover the titles in a far more immersive way than a traditional showcase allows.
Direct interaction between players and developers remained one of the event's biggest highlights. Visitors were able to speak with developers and publishers through voice chat while exploring the booths, turning game presentations into genuine conversations. In addition, Alienware hosted branded mini games that gave participants the chance to win hardware and merchandise throughout the weekend.
Companies including THQ Nordic and Frozen District featured dedicated areas where attendees could experience several of their games in a hands on format. The event also included a media hub that provided journalists with a space to meet creators and discuss current projects and future plans. Before the public opening, an exclusive panel for media and content creators brought together representatives from Untold Tales, Frozen District, Windup, and THQ Nordic to share their perspectives on the current state of the games industry.
One of the event's defining strengths is its focus on active participation instead of passive viewing. Visitors can play demos, join activities, attend meetups, and freely explore the virtual world, while developers benefit from engaging directly with a live audience. Free access from anywhere in the world continues to be another key pillar of the experience.
The numbers recorded throughout the weekend underline the platform's continued growth. In addition to surpassing 10,000 downloads, the event featured more than 250 content creators streaming across the weekend, generated approximately 2.1 million impressions on the Steam event page, and attracted more than 33,000 unique visits on Steam.
"Seeing thousands of players from all over the world walk our floors together, talking to developers, playing demos, jumping into activities, that is exactly what we set out to build," said Nikos Perifanis, co-founder of ENDIX. He added, "We rebuilt a lot of the floor for this edition and you could feel it in how people interacted and enjoyed themselves. The energy all weekend was something else. I could not be happier with how it went and we are already implementing everything we learned into the Fall."
