Delve Survivors is the new dungeon crawling adventure announced by independent developer and publisher iDiOSLAB in partnership with NGJ, combining elements of classic roguelikes with the fast paced action of modern survivors style games. The PC release is planned for November 2026, while console versions are expected to follow in the first quarter of 2027.

The experience places players in procedurally generated dungeons where each run involves fighting enemy hordes, finding rare equipment, and progressing through increasingly dangerous floors. Its retro inspired aesthetic accompanies a progression loop based on repeated attempts, with new discoveries, challenges, and character building possibilities emerging throughout each run.

The gameplay also changes the traditional pace of action games by allowing players to control the flow of combat through a grid based system in which every action advances time. Attacks are triggered automatically when an enemy enters combat, while abilities operate with turn based cooldowns, requiring careful positioning to combine attacks, status effects, area damage, and summons.

Progression allows players to confront large groups of enemies while combining different abilities, equipment, and synergies to create increasingly powerful builds. Items feature multiple rarity tiers, while preparation between runs takes place at the Town Hub, where players can upgrade equipment, improve stats, exchange items, and prepare for the next expedition.

The game offers three distinct ways to play, beginning with Casual, which reduces the consequences of defeat, followed by Roguelite, which resets the world while preserving character progression, and Hardcore, where permadeath ends the run and removes its progress. Surviving the various threats may also lead players toward a rumored endgame challenge featuring a 100 floor mega dungeon.

Its influences include classic roguelikes such as Rogue, Angband, and Tales of Maj'Eyal, as well as contemporary titles such as Vampire Survivors, Death Must Die, Halls of Torment, and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. The combination aims to bring the depth associated with traditional dungeon crawlers to shorter sessions, with individual runs designed to last between 15 and 30 minutes.

The game's Western presentation followed appearances at events in Japan, where the initial reception encouraged the team to expand its international promotion. "We decided to come to Gamescom, along with this first announcement in the West, after presenting the game in Japan at some events and were thrilled and excited by the public and media reaction - which was exceedingly positive!", said Shigeki Takeuchi, CEO of iDiOSLAB.

The PC release is planned for November 2026, followed by console versions in the first quarter of 2027. The developer has yet to reveal additional details about progression, challenges, and the content awaiting players across its dungeons.
