Dark Stream has been announced by Skystone Games in partnership with RedDeer.Games as a new first person psychological horror game focused on paranormal investigation and live audience interaction. Scheduled to launch on PC in 2026, the project places players in the role of a disgraced content creator who decides to explore a house haunted by decades of supernatural rumors in search of fame, attention, and online relevance.

The experience revolves around livestreams broadcast from inside cursed locations, where every step taken by the protagonist is followed by viewers in real time. As the stream numbers rise and the chat reacts to unfolding events, the house begins responding to the intruder’s presence in increasingly violent ways. Distorted sounds, objects moving on their own, and rooms that seem to reshape themselves become part of the terrifying atmosphere crafted by the studio.

Gameplay focuses on interactive investigations built around observation and experimentation. Using simple equipment such as flashlights and recording devices, players must interpret paranormal events and figure out how to stabilize supernatural manifestations. Every decision directly affects the behavior of the house, with mistakes escalating encounters and making the environment far more dangerous.

One of the game’s standout features is its full Twitch integration. The chat reacts instantly to every discovery and frightening moment, acting both as emotional support and a source of chaos throughout the experience. Depending on audience interaction, situations can become even more unpredictable, reinforcing the constant pressure of performing in front of thousands of virtual spectators.

Beyond the psychological horror elements, the narrative also explores the obsession with online validation and audience engagement. As new rooms are unlocked, clues hidden throughout the environment gradually reveal the violent history connected to the house and the entities living within it. The setting increasingly conveys the feeling that the building itself is watching and manipulating anyone attempting to uncover the truth.

The atmosphere leans heavily into escalating tension and supernatural events that react directly to player behavior. The result is an experience where survival depends not only on understanding the signs hidden within the house, but also on maintaining a performance for an audience that never stops watching.
